Thappad Review
Taapsee Pannu is now known for her strong roles, whether it was Pink, Mulk, Badla, Saand Ki Aankh and now another feather to her tail is Thappad. Taapsee Pannu delivers another strong and spectacular performance. The important aspect of the movie is its story. The story and the concept of the movie is very strong and it is a loud slap on the face of patriarchy. Director Anubhav Sinha presented this story perfectly that sends a strong message to the male dominating society. The whole emphasis is on excesses that happen to ordinary women in everyday life. Pavail Gulati played his part quite well. Kumud Mishra who played the character of Taapsee’s father impresses with his performance. The background score of the movie is well suited to the scenes.
Overall, Thappad delivers a strong message to society. We give Thappad 4 stars out of 5. Have you watched the movie? How was it? Let us know in the comments below.
