There is something really attractive to this slow-burn crime thriller that you wouldn’t want to miss. The movie is not just a murder mystery, but it also focuses on several other issues. It includes immigration problems, communal disharmony, teenage issues, drug abuse, and LGBTQ issues. Hansal Mehta has also done his best to get the best to the screens. Another good thing about the movie is that there is no unnecessary drama.

Moving ahead to the cast performances, Kareena Kapoor Khan carries the film throughout. Her character of Jasmeet ‘Jass’ Bhamra is very convincing and will surely win you over. Ranveer Brar in the role of Daljeet Kohli also did an exceptional job. His wife Preeti Kohli played by Prabhleen Sandhu was good. Additionally, Ash Tandon portrays Hardik ‘Hardy’ Patel perfectly. Apart from them, all the other cast members have handled their roles perfectly.

However, one drawback of the movie is that it sometimes sacrifices the detective feel while focusing more on a social satire about immigrants. The climax could also be a little more engaging. But one truly praiseworthy thing is that there is a silence that flows through every scene. It will leave you deeply affected. The background score of the movies also adds to the chills. The film starts well but as it tries to dig deep, it seems rushed.
