The trailer of Vikrant Massey, Ridhi Dogra, and Raashii Khanna starrer The Sabarmati Report is out. Vikrant Massey is again back with the hard-hitting realities after the 12th Fail. The actor is set to bring something new, intense, and heartbreaking to the Godhra train burning incident.

This 2-minute and 52-second trailer showed Vikrant Massey playing the character of a journalist who rebels against Ridhi Dogra for presenting the half-truth while researching the clear facts. He stands against English-speaking journalists who work under a system. In the trailer, Vikrant Massey plays the role of a Hindi-speaking journalist aspiring to make it big in the media world. Vikrant decides to pursue journalism in English. Later, he joins hands with Raashii Khanna and unravels the truth of the Sabarmati. The trailer showed a glimpse of Barkha Singh, though it wasn’t revealed much.

The movie is based on the real incidents of the Sabarmati Express which were the most impactful events in Indian History. Around 59 Hindu pilgrims and karsevaks were killed. Many others were injured. The cause of the fire remains disputed to date. The trailer shows that makers are trying to uncover the history of The Sabarmati Express that happened on February 27, 2002.

We are definitely ready to know about the deeper facts and hidden truths about this tragic incident. The Sabarmati Report is directed by Dheeraj Sarna, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan. The theatrical release of this historic thrill is November 15, 2024.
