One of the most awaited movies of the year 2018, Thugs of Hindostan got released today on Diwali. This is the first time two legends of Bollywood came together Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan along with Fatma Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Thugs of Hindostan is made on the budget of over 300 crores and it is released in around 7000 screens, 5000 in India including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and 2000 Overseas.
Plot Of Thugs Of Hindostan
Thugs of Hindostan is set in 1795 and it is a story revolves around Zafira played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. Her family got betrayed by Britishers and shot her family died in the name of friendship. She loses her family, her castle, to John Clive a ruthless British East India Company officer, who invaded India and her dynasty Raunakpur.
Khudabaksh played by Amitabh Bachchan is her guardian. Aamir Khan aka Firangi Mallah has various layers on his character like a selfish and cunning person. Katrina Kaif a big renown actress has nothing much to do in a movie and has very less screen presence.
At this age, Amitabh Bachchan performing stunts and wearing those heavy costumes with two swords is remarkable. He is a true legend. The soul of the movie is no doubt, Amitabh Bachchan. The character of Firangi Mallah played by Aamir Khan has lots of layers and Aamir Khan has done full justice with it.
Things which disappointed most are a predictable story, weak screenplay, and bad direction. Music is also not good. Visual effects and background score is good. This movie Thugs of Hindostan has beautifully captured scenes and actions.
