Luv Ranjan is back with another different kind of love story with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He has been exceptional with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have been simply amazing with their roles. Shraddha Kapoor has been gorgeous, while Ranbir Kapoor looked handsome hunk. He aces with his performance as a lover boy. After Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, you will see Ranbir Kapoor in this kind of role. Shraddha Kapoor, oh boy, Aashiqui 2 girl has grown up and has done full justice with her character. Anubhav Singh Bassi fills the comic timing with ease. Dimple Kapadia is superb with her character.

The monologues in the film are brilliant. It will make you miss Kartik Aaryan. However, the makers here did not disappoint you, as you will see Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the film as cameo. The first half of the film is a little slow, with back-to-back songs breaking the momentum. However, the second half picks up the pace and entertains you to the fullest. The background score of the film is fantastic. The songs are good, with some lovely visual spectacle. The chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor keeps you hooked throughout the film.
