Divyanka Tripathi became a household name after her family drama show “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” gains critical success. It is hard to imagine anyone else playing the role of Ishita. However, Hina Khan, Drashti Dhami, and Krystle D’Souza were approached for this role of Ishita before it landed to Divyanka.
7. Aishwarya Sharma: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
Aishwarya was not the first choice to play the role of Pakhi. Somehow, she bagged the role back when Erica Fernandes rejected the role due to some reasons which are still unknown.
8. Surbhi Chandana: Naagin 5
Surbhi Chandana rose to fame from her popular TV show named “Ishqbaaz.” Moreover, a new level was introduced to her popularity when she played the role of Bani Sharma in Naagin 5. She was not the first choice for this role as it was offered to Hina Khan and Alisha Panwar before Surbhi.
9. Shraddha Arya: Kundali Bhagya
Shraddha Arya starrer Kundali Bhagya bagged a huge amount of TRP. No doubt, the female lead (Shraddha) had her hard work paying for it. Somehow, Shraddha was not the first choice for the female lead role as it was offered to Ankita Lokhande, Sara Khan, and Tina Dutta before they rejected the role.
10. Shivangi Joshi: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
“Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” is the second longest-running Indian television soap opera. Initially, Hina Khan was in the female lead role. But, now Shivangi Joshi is playing the lead role of Naira. Shivangi bagged the role of Naira back when the role was rejected by Jannat Zubair Khan, Tina Datta, Sanaya Irani, and Ishita Datta.
