There are rumors that 83 The Film will directly release digitally. The movie 83 The Film will not release directly on OTT platforms. Shibash Sarkar, Group CEO of Reliance Entertainment, announced that there are no plans to release the movie on the OTT platforms directly. It will have a proper theatrical release. 83 was about to release on April 10, 2020, but it got postponed due to coronavirus. There is no update on a new release date as this coronavirus is not slowing down anytime soon.
Filming, Editing, and Dubbing are completed. There is a minimal work of post-production remaining, and the final mix is also pending.
