Urvashi added, “Director Bobby explained that it’s not going to be a run-of-the-mill song but also has a theme. The song set, costumes, and grandeur have a ‘king and a queen’ kind of set up.”

As part of a promotion, the song video of Dabidi Dibidi was released even before Daaku Maharaaj hit the screens. The song features Urvashi Rautela and Balakrishna, choreographed by VJ Shekar. However, the song was criticized and trolled for its ‘inappropriate dance moves.’

Urvashi Rautela recently opened up about the trolling for the first time. She expressed her interest in and fascination with the song.  “Director Bobby explained that it’s just not going to be a run-of-the-mill song but also has a theme. The song set, costumes, and grandeur have a ‘king and a queen’ kind of setup. I look like a princess in the costumes while Balakrishna sir sits on the throne like a king.”

Urvashi revisits the memory lane of working with Shekar earlier for the song ‘Boss Party’ in ‘Waltair Veerayya’, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi. The song was a blockbuster and she describes him as a classy choreographer. “If you look at ‘Boss Party’ the dance moves are classy and graceful. People should not judge him based on these dance moves, but they should also look at his past work and what he delivered before. There was a lot of jungle theme to the song; afro and tribal-inspired dance moments. So, we stayed true to the song’s theme and director’s vision.”

Urvashi herself is a Bharatanatyam dancer and wanted all kinds of dance forms to cater to wide audiences. “This is an art, and I worship my art. I wanted to thank the director for bringing out my different side as an actor by giving me some action sequences to perform in Daaku Maharaaj.”
