Vedaa is one such movie that does not sacrifice the story while highlighting the action sequences. Director Nikkhil Advani has done a good job. He is known for bringing intense stories with high-octane action sequences, Vedaa is no different. It also has thrilling chase scenes, cars falling over each other, and lots of violence. The movie takes inspiration from real-life stories, Vedaa boldly speaks about caste-based injustice.
Moving ahead to the cast performances, Sharvari shines brightly in depicting the titular role of Vedaa. She brilliantly showcases Vedaa’s helplessness and her strength. Her character will surely win you over. Her transition from a girl being bullied to a true rebel who fights for justice is remarkable. John Abraham is powerful as usual. He aces the action scenes perfectly. His dialogue delivery is good. Abhishek Banerjee is a brilliant and versatile actor, from Jana in Stree 2 to Jitendra Pratap Singh in Vedaa, he nails his role with perfection. Tamannaah Bhatia looked good in her limited screen presence. Apart from them, all the other supporting cast members Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajendra Chawla, and Kumud Mishra have played their characters with utmost dedication.
The movie is a story of self-discovery along with moral dilemmas that will keep the audience engaged. At times, Vedaa stumbles, mainly because of the social issues that have been explored before. However, all other aspects of the movie cover up most of the flaws. Other major aspects of the movie are its dialogues and background music as they bring emotional depth to the narrative.

Vedaa is filled with intense scenes, high-octane action, powerful performances, and a thrilling narrative. It focuses on a major social issue that is quite sensitive but is handled very well. We rate this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.
