The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, Mallika Sherwat, Mukesh Tiwari, Vijay Raaz, and Tiku Talsania in pivotal roles. It is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is produced by Balaji Telefilms, Wakaoo Films, and Kathakavach Films.

This 3-minute-long trailer brings us back to 1997 when Mehndi artist Vicky convinces his bride Vidya to let him record their wedding night. The trailer showcase is the story of a small-town couple with the duo who decided to document fishy moments after their wedding. So this 3-minute trailer opens with Rajkummar Rao portraying Vicky suggesting his wife Vidya played by Triptii Dimri to record a video of their first night after their wedding to keep it as a memory.
However, things get dramatic when the CD player and the CD of the video get stolen. We also see Mallika Sherawat after a long time in the trailer. With some hilarious moments in the trailer, actors Vijay Raaz and Tiku Talsania bring perfect comic timing and performance

Raaj Shaandilyaa is known for making films like Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2. He is back with another laugh riot with the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. A typical Raaj Shaandilyaa plot filled with comedy and chaos. The trailer is hilarious and leaves chunks of comedy scenes, which makes us super excited about what the film has to offer. Rajkummar Rao had a terrific 2024 with films like Srikanth, Mr And Mrs Mahi, and Stree 2. Looks like he will continue his dream run with VVKWVV. Triptii Dimri looks good in the trailer.
The film has been called 97% Parivarik and 3% Maha Parivarik. Seeing, Mallika Sherawat in a comic role after a long feels good. Onboarding Mallika Sherawat for VVKWWV, director Raaj Shaandilyaa said,
“I made a film on a middle-class family. I used Rajkummar Rao, and Mallika Sherawat, all big names in it. The reason for bringing Mallika was that the character we wrote, it suits Mallika very well… the modern girls of that time fit perfectly with Mallika. That’s why I cast her. Otherwise, I have no association with her. My film is 97% family, 3% are family. Yeh Jo Maha Paarivarik hai ye maine Mallika ke chakkar me hi daala hai.”
Daler Mehndi and Shehnaaz Gill will be seen in a special appearance in the film, The trailer has shown a glimpse of Shehnaaz Gill. It is a treat for her fans.
