Bhabijji Ghar Par Hain is one of the most entertaining shows on Indian television. The character of the show become household names. Last year, Nehha Pendse has replaced Saumya Tandon in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. Saumya Tandon, who played the famous character of Anita Bhabi in the sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! has quit the show in August 2020. She had portrayed the role of Anita Bhabi for over five years. Now after almost a year, Nehha Pendse is bidding adieu to the show. The makers have roped in a new face to portray Anita Bhabi and signed Vidisha Srivastava. She is currently seen as Shiv Bai in Kashibai Bajirao Ballal.
Talking about playing Anita Bhabi in Bhabijji Ghar Par Hain, Vidisha Srivastava said it will be a big challenge and a great opportunity. She said,
“It’s a great opportunity and a big challenge at the same time. I believe that the producers auditioned a lot of actresses for the character. But I was finalized overnight. I strongly feel that I am fit for the part, both in terms of looks and performance. Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Is definitely a turning point in my career and can be termed my biggest break so far. The saying, slow and steady wins the race, holds true in my case. All the hard work has paid off.”

Anita Bhabi is one of the most famous characters in Indian television. Vidisha says that she wants to make the character her own. She shares,
“It’s a massive responsibility on my shoulders to take over from my predecessor, but I will play Anita bhabhi my way. Though this is my debut in the comedy genre, I am jumping into it without any pressure. I am excited about this new opportunity. I hope people accept me as the new Anita Bhabi.”

Vidisha Srivastava said that she has watched a few episodes of the previous actresses. She wants to own the character of Anita Bhabi. Vidisha shares,
“The previous actors have played the character extremely well and struck a chord with the audience. So, it’s a massive responsibility on my shoulders to take over from my predecessor, but I will play Anita bhabhi my way. Though this is my debut in the comedy genre and that, too, with a popular show, I am jumping into it without any pressure. I am not scared, but quite excited about this new opportunity. I will give my best and play the part with utmost conviction. Now, whether the audience likes and accepts me as the new Anita Bhabhi is beyond my control. I can only hope they do. I will carry the legacy forward beautifully.”
The show began in 2015 and Saumya Tandon played the role of Anita Bhabi for around 6 years. In January 2021, Nehha Pendse was roped in to play Anita Bhabi after Saumya Tandon. Now, Vidisha Srivastava is the third actress, who will play Anita Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain.
